Fair Time!!
We love going to the fair!

When Grandma and Grandpa came down from MN we spent a day sight-seeing the local attractions :D
The nature center was really neat, they had so many cool things to look at :D Real live snakes, turtles, frogs, bees, black widows, tarantulas!!! (Did you know they have black widows and tarantulas in Kansas!! :P) The park is cool too! There's a cave, creek and trails.

Little Girls
Mom. Abi and I made these dresses, for a wedding this weekend. I made petticoats to lift the skirts a little.

She stands!
She had struggled to get up onto her feet for a several minutes. And then when she finely made it, she stood there contently, looking around and watching her sisters sitting nearby, quite pleased with herself.
Her legs look so short and funny, kinda like monkey legs.

We had several days of this kinda stuff this last week. Spring in the heartland! But I'm glad to report 'no damage', though that's not as much as others can say.

Sleeping Under the Stars

Ellie. Unfortunately Rebecca woke up and refused to be photographed :*( (hehe!) Kaja was hidden under the blankets. And well, I was the one taking pictures! :P 
Come on girls get the blankets on the line!! (Hup, two, three, four......)
Maddi didn't care for any Jumping. 
They were insisting Rebecca and I finish our tale of the "Little girl trapped on an Island""But no! maybe tonight" I grumbled.
